1 Day Workshop
Workshop Overview:
The purpose of this Workshop is to demonstrate to Business Users, Decision Makers and Data Management Practitioners, how to maximise the value of Data and Information by regarding it a valuable Corporate Asset. We will examine the risks and costs inherent in not managing data and information with the same control robustness as Finances or HR, and discuss appropriate measures that can be taken to achieve measurable improvement. We will also address the issues of overcoming resistance to change and/or inertia, so that an initiative has the best possible chance of success.
Workshop content:
At the end of this Workshop, participants should be able to identify the data and information reliability issues present in their own organization, and be in a position to make a strong business case for implementing a Data and Information Quality Management (or Governance) process, through articulating both the benefits of doing so, and the ongoing risks and costs of not doing so.
